CJS Display is a family-owned business with a proud history stretching back over 100 years. The company was formed by Paul Jackson and his wife, Kirstie in April 2020 and specialises in the bespoke design of treated timber display products for the garden centre and nursery business. CJS supplies a range of timber display products for indoor and outdoor use, including bushel boxes, crates, and trestle tables.

Although CJS Display was formed in 2020, Paul’s involvement with the garden centre industry goes back two generations, with both his father and grandfather being at the helm of C Jackson & Sons. This family business was formed over 100 years ago by Charles Jackson and was later taken over by Andrew Jackson and finally Paul himself. It was based on Waller Street and later Hedon Road, Hull, and produced tables, benches, and other timber products for garden centres and horticultural suppliers.

Sadly, due to the pandemic, the C Jackson & Sons factory had to close in March 2020. Paul, and his wife Kirstie decided to launch their own business, with the name, CJS Display, being a respectful nod to the family history and business started by his grandfather. Paul and Kirstie now work closely with a trusted local manufacturer who they have known and worked with for many years. Paul still creates all the designs for the display products, which are crafted from high-quality Scandinavian timber and treated to make them weather-resistant.

CJS Displays is now a thriving and successful Hull-based business, that, in partnership with the manufacturing team, employs over 24 local people. They produce timber display solutions for a range of clients, from small independents to large chains. Each purchase is made to order, with bespoke design and branding options to meet your needs.
